We spend a lot of time pondering and putting together outfits for the special occasions of our lives but what about one of the most significant events of all: our own death. This workshop invites us to contemplate what we’d like to wrap ourselves in for the transition to the next realm via experimentation with textile-based processes in collaboration with local plants, natural inks and dyes, handmade/hand-embellished garments, sun and water. Materials and snacks provided, but feel free to bring a pen, notebook, a garment you love, and a few blossoms and leaves from your garden or local park.
