Workshop with EPFC North and EartHand Gleaners at Trillium Park
FIBRES, SPINDLES, AND FILM
Sunday, September 17: 1 – 4 PM
A special afternoon circling through a variety of activities: processing fibres from fireweed and nettle stalks, starting dye baths with fireweed leaves, making drop spindles from the inner pith of blackberry vines and documenting all of these processes on film to be developed with the leaves from the nettle stalks! The resulting drop spindles, processed fibres, and dyed wool come together at our celebration on Oct 15 at Moberly Arts Centre. Participating community members will have one free ticket confirmed for the October 15 event. This event is outdoors rain or shine, under cover as necessary, please plan to dress for the weather.
