Workshop at Long Beach Community Media Arts at PLACE LB                               INTRO TO 16MM FILMMAKING Saturday, March 22: 1 – 4 PM
Using the 16mm Bolex camera, we’ll learn about film history, camera mechanics and analogue cinematography techniques and then put our new knowledge into practice as we do some filming of our own and possibly even some hand processing!

This very low-key, diy, hands-on workshop is perfect for filmmakers of all experience levels, and focuses heavily on working and learning together! WE BELIEVE ART FLOURISHES WHEN IT IS PRACTICED AS A DEMOCRATIC, COMMUNAL EXPERIENCE!
