“The United States postal system was established on [July 26] 1775, and mail started going “dead” very soon after.” — A Brief History of American Dead Letter Offices
Riffing on the place where undeliverable letters and packages end up, Dead Letter Office invites participants to explore an array of animation and writing techniques, combining words and images to create cinematic missives to and from the dearly (or not so dearly!) departed.
